• Other vaccinations include, for dogs: Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Parovirus. For cats: Feline Vioral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and Panleukopenia.
• A licensed veterinarian must complete the health certificate for your pet within 5 days of travel.
• An import permit is not required when entering the country with your personal pet.
• Pets must enter Venezuela via Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía serving Caracas. Pets can enter in the cabin, as checked baggage or air cargo.
• All pets must be free of evidence of disease communicable to humans when examined at the entry airport.
• Venezuela does not publish a list of banned breeds.
