Taking Your Pet in the Cabin

• Pet Size: Only small dogs and cats are accepted. No large dogs of any kind are accepted.
• Carrier Requirement: The pet must be in an approved carrier and it will be considered as one personal item. The pet will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and must fit under the seat in front of you.
• Carrier Purchase: You may purchase a pet carrier at the T5 Ticket Counter at (JFK John F. Kennedy International Airport) only with a credit card. Otherwise, you can also arrange an accepted pet carrier.
• Pet comfort: Only one pet in a carrier is accepted, and they must have enough space to turn around, lie down and sit comfortably.
• Regulations relating to the pet carrier: The pet must remain inside the carrier always while on the premises of the airport and during the flight.
• Buy an Extra Seat: The pet carrier still has to fit under the seat when taxiing, taking off, and landing but can be out on the seat during the flight for which you can buy an extra seat.
• Blue Basic Fare: If you're travelling on any Blue Basic fare ticket on or before September 5, 2024, your pet carrier plus one personal item is allowed. On or after September 6, 2024, you may bring a carry-on bag in addition to your pet carrier and one personal item.

• Booking Options: You can book your pet online at jetblue.com, via the JetBlue app, or with JetBlue.
• Fee: The in-cabin pet fee is $125 each way.
• Pet Limit: Each customer may bring up to two pets, but each pet needs its carrier and an additional seat and fee.
• Flight Pet Limit: Only six pets are allowed per flight, so book early.
• Mint Service: Pets are not allowed in Mint.
• Seat Assignment: No pets are allowed in exit rows, bulkhead seats, or any seat without under-seat storage.
• Interline/Codeshare: No pets are accepted on interline or codeshare bookings.
• Unaccompanied Minors: The pet is prohibited if the minor travels alone.
